A limited edition in tin can of the heritage King Umberto tomato, also known as Fiascone. This initiative was born to further support our farmers, guardians of an ancient seed, who during the pandemic in 2020 had an extra production of tomato thanks to the favorable climate.

The King Umberto, or Fiascone, grows in the uncontaminated soils of the Amalfi Coast. Harvested since 1878, and then disappeared from the fields, it is now back thanks to the few farmers in Tramonti who have kept the seeds. “Re Fiascone” is the result of crowdfunding by Acarbio, with the contribution of CREA-ORT Pontecagnano, an RGV-FAO project. It is a red-purple tomato with an intense flavour and velvety taste. Excellent as a pizza sauce and condiments.
